MARVELLOUS MONDAY

Morning all

Well, here we are back to some normality.  You can't beat a bit of normality in life can you?

I hope you all enjoyed Lisa's live on Friday?  You certainly seemed taken with the new product that's for sure.  You know, I understand that we all have that FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and that we all want everything NOW but honestly, it is only exclusive to Create and Craft for 14 days and then it would be available on Lisa's website so really you can still have everything you want (or can afford) pretty much straight away without that FOMO.

Before we get on to our Meet the Team feature let's just run through everything that is going on for Lisa Horton Crafts this week shall we?

Monday 9th January

I will be back with you live at 1pm in the Crafting with Lisa Horton Group and I will be using the fabulous new goodies that Lisa showed you on Friday evening.  Well it would be rude not to really wouldn't it? Lol

Tuesday 10th January 

Claire will be back with you too this week live in the CWLH Group at 2pm and Claire too will be using the new goodies.  We are really spoiling you with newness this week aren't we?

Wednesday 11th January

Lisa will be live on Create and Craft at 4pm and 8pm with the New & Exclusive products.  Well, I say she will be live with new products - if things go the same way they normally go she will be lucky if there is anything left to demo with if I'm honest.  Time will tell I guess eh?

Also on Wednesday we will have Project Wednesday back on the blog and this week we will have a fabulous project from the lovely Maria Moorhouse.  Definitely one to check out!

Thursday 12th January

Lisa will be back on Create and Craft at 8am with whatever is left from the Wednesday show.

Then as an added bonus she will be doing an hour on Craft Extra.  Not sure who she will be with yet but it may be the lovely Dawn Wheeler, so worth watching I'm sure.

Don't forget that we always try and stream Lisa's TV shows to the front page of her website as well as to our You Tube channel.

I will also be back live in the Crafting with Lisa Horton Group at 1pm with another demo.

Friday 13th January (eeeek!!)

Lisa will be live at 7pm for her usual Friday night live. (Links later in the week)

So to our Meet the Team feature and this week we are getting to know the lovely Tina Foster a little better. 

How many jobs did you have before you found your dream job?

Unfortunately I’ve never found my dream job. The closest I’ve come to this is being on Lisa’s DT. I was absolutely thrilled and so gobsmacked when Lisa contacted me in December 2019 to tell me the good news, that I was to be part of her team now she was branching out on her own, and I’m super proud to still be here representing Lisa’s brand today. 

Indian or Chinese?

 I love both, but I’d have to say indian. It’s fabulous on these cold nights, and I must admit that I always go for a really spicy curry. Naga is my favourite!!

Fish & Chips or Pizza?

I like both pizza and fish and chips, but at the end of the day it would be the traditional fish and chips for me. 

Surf or Turf?

 Turf I think. I would normally order meat over fish when we go out for dinner. 

Dogs or Cats?

 I’ve never had a dog, but we do have a gorgeous cat called Millie. She came from a rescue centre. We actually went out to buy a new car, and while my husband was looking in the showroom, I took my son nearby to the rescue centre to keep him from getting bored. Millie followed us around and kept meowing at us the whole time, so she seemed to chose us rather than the other way around. We came home with a cat rather than a car! Had her for 14 years now, so she’s about 16 years old. 

Sport or not?

 I’m definitely not a sporty person. 

Music whilst crafting or not?

 I usually craft without any distractions. I never listen to music whilst crafting, although I sometimes have the crafting channels on the TV in the background in my craft room. 

Favourite Film Genre?

 I don’t watch TV very much, but around Christmas I do love the cheesy Christmas movies and of course need to watch ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ every year! 

Favourite music genre?

Symphonic rock is my favourite genre of music. Visions of Atlantis, Within Temptation, Serenity, Nightwish - some of my favs. 

What is your favourite Lisa Horton Crafts product?

 Lisa’s first release - the Daisy dies in 2020 must be the product I’ve used the most over the years. I’m a sucker for flower dies, and these have always been a strong favourite of mine. 

What is your dream for the future?

 My dream for the future would be to buy a lovely property overlooking the sea and live there with my loved ones  Perfect!
