Poinsettias

Hello everyone.

Sharing a Christmas card with poinsettias flowers from Lisa's new Christmas stamps.

The card is measuring slightly smaller then A5 size card.
Christmas Flowers artwork stamps,
Stencil coming soon,
Stitched scalloped circles dies,
Black  micro glitter,
Sticky sheets,
Pearls
Markers to colour the image.

I embossed white A5 size card using a stencil, then cut at both ends 1.5 cm at the top and bottom of  embossed card. Using sticky sheets on black card I applied black micro glitter and cut to strips. Glued the strips to both ends of embossed card and then glued to the base card.
I used sticky sheets on black card and cut a circle using two circle dies, the I applied black glitter to the circle frame and glued to the center of card.
Coloured the poinsettias flowers with alcohol markers, fussy cut out and shaped the flowers before gluing them to the card.
Cut out the sentiments and framed them with black card, added to the card with foam pads for dimensions.
Added little yellow pearls to the center of poinsettias and some corner of the card.

Keep Smiling

Hello everyone.

Sharing a card with embossed background using a Tartan stencil. These stencils are great to emboss card it gives deep embossing.

For the card

Lisa Horton Crafts Tartan stencil,
Butterfly flourish dies,
Stitched Scallop rectangle dies,
Ticker Phrases sentiment stamps,
Pearls and Sisal,
Distress oxide inks,
White card

Cut a stitched rectangle from white card. Emboss with Tartan stencil.

Blend oxide inks randomly, I used peacock feathers, twisted citron and cracked pistachio.

Cut a scalloped rectangle from white card and adhere to the card base. Matt and layer the embossed rectangle with 3D foam pads on top of the scalloped rectangle.

Cut out three butterflies and adhere them to the coloured background, use green sisal and glue to the card before adding big butterfly on top. Add green pearls to the butterflies.

Stamp the sentiment with black ink, cut out leaving white edge around and adhere with foam pads to the front of card.

I have my craft room where I love spending time to create something,  my husband calls my craft room a card factory LOL! I am also helping to organise craft for little ones at a local Toddlers group.

I am so exited and honoured to be part of Lisa’s amazing design team.
