PROJECT WEDNESDAY

Hello all

I really hope that all our US friends are safe and well considering the storms that have or are due to hit over the next few days.

In case you missed my live on Monday I have added the link to the edited version on You Tube so that you can watch at your leisure.  You may gather from the video that I quite like the fabulous new Balloon High layering stencils and embossing folder with die.  Just sayin' Lol.

I will add Claire's link on Friday.

So, it is Wednesday and you know that means a new project.

This week we have been given a fabulous project from the lovely Lorraine.

YOU WILL NEED
LHCAS040 Layering Stencils Daffodil
LHCEF055 Daffodil folder and die
LHCCD041 Slimline honeycomb frame, or alternative
LHCCS016 Textures A6 stamp
LHCCS004 Ticker phrases DL stamp set
DL card blank
Black and white card for layering
Blending inks in pale grey, pale yellow, mid and dark green
Stamping ink
Foam pads
Scrap paper

Cut a piece of white card larger than the layering die you are using for your top layer and stencil
the daffodil in the centre using your chosen inks.

Using your chosen slimline die cut out the panel.

From a piece of scrap paper cut the daffodil die to create a mask.

Place the mask over your stencilled image and secure with low tack tape.

Using the script texture without an acrylic block and grey stamping ink,

Cloud 9 cobblestones would be perfect, randomly stamp around the

masked area.

 Carefully remove the mask.

Place the panel into the daffodil 3D embossing folder ensuring that everything is perfectly lined up before passing through your machine.

Die cut the larger slimline die in black.

Place 3D pads onto your stencilled panel before adding to the black layer.

Stick to your DL card base. Stamp your chosen sentiment from the ticker stamp set onto white card in black ink

and trim leaving a slight border.

Mount onto the card using 3D pads
