So, let's get on to our First Fast Craft Friday with our lovely Maria.
I’m really excited to share the first Fast Craft Friday with you, and as it’s nearly Valentines Day, I thought I would do a little romantic card.
You will need
Nested Hearts dies LHCCD051
Posy Builder dies LHCCD145
Banner Sentiments stamp and die LHCCD053
Hydrangea Blooms embossing folder LHCEF123
White 6 inch card blank
Card stock, red, white, black
Euphoria glitter card
Take the 2nd and 3rd largest nested heart dies and secure them together with low Tac tape
Die cut a handful of white heart frames, I did 5, and a red one. Look at all those lovely spare hearts too!
Glue all the frames on top of each other, red one on top. I find it easiest to smear glue onto old packaging or acetate and press the die cuts onto the glue.
Take one of your spare white hearts and emboss it with the Hydrangea Blooms folder
Die cut some leaves and flower elements using the Posy Builder die set
Glue your heart frame to the front of your card blank and then glue the embossed heart in the centre, use a red pen to colour the Hydrangea centres
Stick the foliage and flower in place on the raised heart frame
On red card, stamp and die cut the banner sentiments, I just used black ink as this is a fast craft project, but the banners look a little luxurious heat embossed with silver powder.
Choose which sentiment banner you want to use and secure it in place, and you’re done! Less than 18 minutes for a Valentines card, please don’t tell my husband, he’ll think it took me ages!
But does it need an extra heart? And where to put it?
Wow, what gorgeous cards, thanks so much Maria. Really looking forward to the next one already.
