Majestic Butterfly

Majestic Butterfly
Hello everyone, hope you are keeping safe and well.
Today it’s my turn to do a post on the blog. I have used the new
Majestic Butterfly and Trailing Foliage stamps designed by
Anne Ruffles for Lisa to create this card.

Items required
Majestic Butterflies stamp
Trailing Foliage stamp
Alcohol based pens in shades of green, turquoise, salmon and pale gold
Lisa Horton die for Creative Expressions – Scalloped Layered Squares –
CEDLH1055
6” x 6” blank white card
Extra smooth white stamping card

Place the largest scalloped edge die with one side of the cutting edge just

over the fold on the 6 x 6 card and die cut, you will now have a shaped card.

Die cut the largest scalloped square from the smooth white card.

Stamp the trailing foliage with Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the top left
corner (see sample picture for positioning))

Stamp the squarer butterfly (top image on pack) in the bottom right corner
(again see sample picture for positioning)

Colour the images.

Stamp a few of the small swirls randomly around the images.

Die cut an aperture from the middle of the scalloped square with the
9cm stitched edge square.

Attach the frame with aperture to the front of the shaped card and then
attach the stitched square into the aperture.

Stamp the butterfly twice onto smooth white card and colour the top two
layers of wings on one and just the top layer on the other before carefully
cutting out. Curve the wings slightly. Add a couple of pearls either side of the
head.
Paper piece onto the butterfly on the front of the card and attach with
glue gel or 3d foam pads

Happy crafting until next time, Sue xx
